My ideal client is someone who recognizes the need for change in their life, but may not know how to go about it to produce positive results. I treat adults and teens who are struggling with trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship /situationship issues. In addition, cultivating self-awareness and figuring out what goals you have is a big part of therapy no matter what you come in with and is something everyone could benefit from. Being open to talk about hard things is difficult, but also very brave. I see it as a privilege to get to work with those who are ready to make that step in a safe validating environment.

I am licensed in Kentucky with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families from all walks of life. I provide support to those who are experiencing a wide range of mental health struggles and life concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, attachment issues, and those facing difficult life transitions.

With over 10 years of experience in providing therapy, I understand the value of providing a safe, supportive and comfortable environment to help individuals, families and couples' get through life's biggest challenges - such as grief & loss, teen issues, family conflict, stress management, perinatal issues, infertility, communication issues, anxiety and depression and much more. I utilize an evidence based and multidimensional therapeutic approach that incorporates different therapy styles such CBT, DBT, MI, Gottman's, Strength-Based, Solution-Focused Therapy.

The therapeutic relationship is the single best predictor of therapy outcome as well as the primary agent of change.
