I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist from the State of Kansas with a focus on sexual issues and disorders. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. I celebrate the diversity of each family unit. I enjoy working with all kinds of family systems: individuals, couples (married or unmarried), as well as variety of backgrounds, sexual orientations, ages, and cultures.

I am a trauma informed, sex positive clinician that strives to improve connection between couples, provide inclusive sex education and focus on individuals reducing distress and improving their quality of life. I am passionate about assisting individuals & couples with enhancing communication, reducing conflict, set boundaries, resolve trauma, and cope effectively with all of life's stressors. As well as providing sex therapy to individuals & couples, I also have 10+ years experience providing DBT and EMDR therapy to teenage and adult clients and have a weekly DBT group for adults.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I create a safe, non-judgmental environment for you to work on achieving your goals. I have experience working with sexual problematic behaviors, revitalizing sexual activity and partner support. I also work with individuals with anxiety, depression and trauma. I firmly believe that continual growth as a person is imperative to a full and peaceful life. I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. I obtained my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 2016. I enjoy working with couples, individuals, families, and children 13+ in achieving their own mental and emotional goals. Some issues I enjoy working with are issues related to, intimacy, postpartum, gender sex therapy, anxiety, depression and Tics/Tourette.

Our clients often identify as LGBTQIAs2+ / Queer, Non-monogamous, sex positive or sex neutral, neurodivergence, and or disabled and living within Missouri or Kansas. However, identifying in these communities is not a requirement for services through AAC. Clients often start therapy to work on goals to learn more about identities, setting boundaries with others in their lives, opening up their relationship, learning more about themselves or others gender or sexual expression. Through individual, relationship, or family counseling we work to increase healthy communication based on our values, instead of assumed social norms.

Keeping passion and connection in relationships while also thriving as individuals is a goal that many of us have. Balancing these aspects of life can be difficult, especially when life stressors, mental or emotional disorders, or trauma present themselves. My goal is to help clients achieve their goals of connection and personal growth, while challenging them to act on the best parts of themselves. I am passionate about working with couples struggling with intimacy and desire issues. My approach in working with couples centers on differentiation based therapies and encourages both individual and couple growth.

I am a firm believer that therapy is for everyone - no matter how scary and strange the process may be. In this safe environment, everyone will feel welcomed just as they are. Working through a trauma-informed lens, I have extensive training in working with fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community, while utilizing clinical and evidence-based therapeutic modalities - all while using a secular approach. I work with everyone of any age, I largely work with teens through their college years.
