Based in Kansas as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in providing empathetic support for adults facing diverse life challenges. My expertise spans areas such as anger management, men's concerns, anxiety, addiction coping, LGBTQ+ matters, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. Drawing from 12 years of experience, I employ a tailored approach to therapy, integrating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques.

I am a firm believer that therapy is for everyone - no matter how scary and strange the process may be. In this safe environment, everyone will feel welcomed just as they are. Working through a trauma-informed lens, I have extensive training in working with fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community, while utilizing clinical and evidence-based therapeutic modalities - all while using a secular approach. I work with everyone of any age, I largely work with teens through their college years.

Hi there! My name is Ash Nobles (they/them) and I'd love to walk through therapy with you. Are you wrestling with sexuality, or do you want a therapist who is aware of sexuality’s impact on life? My history is working in mental illness based settings, engaging trauma stories with neurodivergent young adults, and is as an advocate with teenagers and the LGBTQIA+ community. Three decades of experience helping couples and individuals overcome problems and begin to thrive again. I work with individuals and couples struggling with everything from Sexual Secrets to Breaches in Trust such as Infidelity, Resentments, Lies, Sex, Kinks, Non-traditional Relationships, Mixed Orientation Relationships, ENM, Lifestyle, Bi+ topics, and the myriad of challenges that we all face. Are your fears holding you back from what you want to do or who you want to be? I believe you are stronger than you may think, and as your therapist it is my goal to help give you the necessary tools to live a happy and meaningful life! I currently focus on psychological, cognitive, and diagnostic evaluations. I provide assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, intellectual disabilities), mood/anxiety disorders, and other psychological concerns.

Whether it be preparing for the journey ahead, taking stock of what happened in the past, or figuring out what is happening in the now, a place to check-in and be heard should be available to everyone. Being able to talk openly about yourself and all that entails, whether it be your identity, what's troubling you, and how you want to move forward, is something I wish to harbor in therapy.

Coming to therapy can be scary! My clients generally enjoy my gentle approach, curiosity and sense of playfulness in session. I work with adults from all walks of life and specialize in trauma healing and the LGBT+ community. My ideal client has skills to navigate daily life or may have "graduated" from CBT/DBT, and is now ready to understand themselves in a deeper way. My clients usually thrive when they come to therapy ready to finally heal the underlying wounds that have caused them problems for far too long.

My approach to therapy is based on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). A core idea in ACT is that trying too hard to get rid of or control our emotions tends to backfire. Instead of trying to get rid of unwanted thoughts and feelings (e.g., anxiety & depression), I will help you learn to react differently to them so that you can keep your focus on living a meaningful and fulfilling life based on what’s important to you. We will work together to set meaningful goals to address your concerns–whether they relate to life transitions, depression, anxiety, body image, grief/loss, job or academic stress, or gender & sexuality.

Therapy can be an invitation to explore our inner world and how it relates to the development of the self, relationships, and our way of making meaning in this world. My aim as a psychologist is to offer that unique space to clients where transformation, challenge and deeper understanding can occur. I specialize in work with LGBTQ+ youth and adults, in grief and loss, end of life concerns, identity development, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and psychosocial oncology. I work with adults, children, and adolescents for psychotherapy and provide assessments for autism, learning disabilities and social/emotional concerns.

You’ve tried everything you’ve found on the internet but still, it's not working how you want. It's frustrating, isolating, infuriating, and confusing. It may even be difficult to remember a time when things didn’t feel this way. But now, you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to break the pattern and have your body and brain on the same page. You're ready for a more fulfilled sex life. And most of all, you’re ready to feel more connected in your sexuality!

Most of my clients come to me because they’re struggling with their sex life and they’re pretty sure it’s all their fault. They’re not having the kind of sex that they want or sex has just become an enormous problem in their relationship. I often find that at the root of these issues surrounding sexuality is shame. Sometimes that shame is connected to: poor self-esteem or body image, believing you don’t deserve sexual pleasure, a belief that whatever you’re into is just too "weird" and you want to feel “normal” but can’t shake this particular desire, or societal & cultural expectations of gender roles.

I am a somatic and relationship therapist, and provide both individual and couples therapy. For adults and adolescents dealing with various types of trauma from developmental to acute, I use Somatic Experiencing as well as IFS (internal family systems) to help you heal the intensity of your experience of past events that may be keeping you feeling overwhelmed and settle your nervous system in the here and now. For couples I use Gottman Couples Therapy to help you improve communication, and work through things from infidelity to parenting to navigating relationship changes. I also provide sex therapy to individuals and couples.

My name is Caleb Stephens, and I am an Intersectional Clinician. The reality of therapy is that it is inaccessible to most, and the majority of therapists gear their therapy around themselves, and not around the needs of the client, nor the layers of identity that exist. I am not a traditional therapist, as I am also an Activist, and the majority of the work that I do is Identity work. This is about meeting you where you're at, and I'm here for it.

For me, being effective means helping clients succeed in learning new skills, developing upon skills they already have, and reaching their goals. In other words, helping my clients get to a place where they don’t need my services anymore. Compassion for others and wanting to help folks is what started me on the path to becoming a therapist, but seeing my clients grow stronger and succeed is what makes me want to come to work every day.
