As an EMDR trained therapist, I am passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and those around them. I strive to provide a nonjudgmental atmosphere and can help you to: identify internal strengths, develop and implement coping strategies, develop communication skills, manage anxiety, process traumatic experiences, and more. Through a humanistic/existential lens, EMDR training, and music therapy techniques, I strive to provide those I work with the tools they need to build the future they want.

There is no such thing as an ideal client. That is too boring. The way I do therapy is relaxed. I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" I never stop learning, and when you have me as a therapist, you will see that you will fall back in love with learning. Overall, I am just honored you allowed me to help you! Sometimes therapists are called the "wounded healers" because from their own life experiences they have decided to help people. I am proud to be one of those therapists. I have had a wealth of life experiences and losses and can truly empathize with my clients. I have experience in many areas of Social Work; including housing homeless people, coordinating adoptions, and advocating for pre-adjudicated youth. As a Clinical Therapist, I have worked in Home Based Therapy, Community, Residential, and Addiction. I firmly believe that these varied populations and organizations have enriched my integrative approach to therapy.

I am determined to help my clients feel aligned in all aspects of their lives. Everyone can use a little help, sometimes! I have worked with several clients who have struggled with some of life's biggest battles, losses, stressors, heartaches, and journeys. I am passionate and fully devoted to collaborating with my clients in fulfilling their own sense of happiness.

I believe strongly in the human potential to grow and adapt to change. I have worked in mental health for over two decades in a variety of settings and am trained as a counseling psychologist and medical intuitive. I work specifically with clients who have experienced trauma, members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans and service members, other healers, and clients seeking medical intuition services. Some of the healing modalities that I integrate are Reiki, mindful self-compassion, somatic exercises, connection with guides, crystal therapy, past life regression, journeying, and individualized microcurrent frequency (IMF).

How can I help you? I have over 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples and families struggling with interpersonal and relational issues. My experience and expertise includes issues relating to sexual dysfunctions and other intimacy issues, trauma due to domestic violence or childhood abuse, anxiety disorders especially PTSD, mood disorders and parenting issues.

I work with a variety of individuals, couples, and families dealing with such problems as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship difficulties. One of my special interests is assisting clients with improving their decision-making in important life areas. Recently I published a book on judgment and ways to enhance it. I am also experienced in providing psychological evaluations for assessment of attention deficit disorders, fitness for bariatric surgery, and court-related issues. I look forward to helping others explore strategies to enhance well-being and lead more fulfilling lives.

I enjoy working with clients who want to gain insight into their emotions and behaviors. If you are wanting to learn more about your emotions, how your emotions interfere with accomplishing your goals, and how your behaviors impact your relationships, you are my ideal client. I utilize a systemic approach while working with clients and design treatment strategies that are highly effective in the reduction of symptoms. The therapeutic relationship is key to treatment success. My treatment orientation integrates Family Systems, Cognitive Restructuring, Experiential, Reality Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness.
