My name is Samantha Wright-Cooksey, MSW, LCSW. I have been a therapist for over 20 years with combined experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families. I have provided professional services in outpatient, home, community and school-based settings. I have worked in addictions as well as end of life issues. I utilize strength-based and solution focused techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and problem solving skills training. I offer in person and telehealth options for therapy. I accept most insurance, EAP, and self pay options.

I believe that treatment is most helpful when provided in a safe environment that is free of judgments and filled with compassion and respect. I believe the majority of our troubles stem from our upbringing and the relationships we've had in our life, past and present. In order to heal, it is necessary to explore this. This will take time and will be difficult. We will learn coping skills along the way to manage life's ups and downs in a healthy way.

There is no such thing as an ideal client. That is too boring. The way I do therapy is relaxed. I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" I never stop learning, and when you have me as a therapist, you will see that you will fall back in love with learning. Overall, I am just honored you allowed me to help you! Stan Antonelli III is a Licensed and Academy Certified Psychotherapist and Clinical Addiction Specialist. Stan specializes in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. He has extensive experience treating incarcerated adult offenders as well as those struggling with anger management issues. Stan has advanced training in CBT, TF-CBT, Adoption-Competent Therapy, and the Minnesota Model of Addiction. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University and Andrews University in psychology, sociology, and clinical social work. He is a PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) candidate.

I work with a variety of individuals, couples, and families dealing with such problems as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship difficulties. One of my special interests is assisting clients with improving their decision-making in important life areas. Recently I published a book on judgment and ways to enhance it. I am also experienced in providing psychological evaluations for assessment of attention deficit disorders, fitness for bariatric surgery, and court-related issues. I look forward to helping others explore strategies to enhance well-being and lead more fulfilling lives.

I am dedicated, committed, and highly passionate Licensed Social Worker. I have an array of experience working with all age groups from early childhood and beyond. I have worked with individuals and families from various social and economic backgrounds, cultures, Spiritual backgrounds, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I am experienced working with trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, victims of child abuse and neglect, amongst other mental health issues. I have a dedicated a large portion of my career to working with children and adolescents with behavioral issues.

I specialize in the treatment of women with anxiety, trauma, burnout, attachment trauma, and the fallout of narcissistic relationships who feel traditional self-care has failed them.

Sometimes therapists are called the "wounded healers" because from their own life experiences they have decided to help people. I am proud to be one of those therapists. I have had a wealth of life experiences and losses and can truly empathize with my clients. I have experience in many areas of Social Work; including housing homeless people, coordinating adoptions, and advocating for pre-adjudicated youth. As a Clinical Therapist, I have worked in Home Based Therapy, Community, Residential, and Addiction. I firmly believe that these varied populations and organizations have enriched my integrative approach to therapy.
