We are accepting new clients and have in-person and remote availability. Whether you, or a loved one, are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues or just need a place to talk, Pillars' holistic approach to health and wellness has a treatment option that can work for you. When we started Pillars we quickly realized that to best help our clients we needed to partner with clinicians with diverse backgrounds and skills. We have remained steadfast in our efforts to create a team of clinicians with a varied specializations, so that we can be sure to effectively serve our clients and our community.

I am currently accepting new clients in my growing outpatient practice! I love working with youth and adults who find themselves struggling with “life’s curveballs.” I don’t promise to provide a solution but together we can navigate through these struggles!

Kristina Turner is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has 11 years of experience in the mental health field. Kristina has worked in a variety of clinical settings including state hospitals treating chronic mental illnesses. She has experience in clinical outpatient settings focusing on the treatment of personality disorders and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, as well as trauma. Kristina’s most recent experience is in helping others overcome addiction through medical detox, rehabilitation, and recovery-based group therapy.

There is no such thing as an ideal client. That is too boring. The way I do therapy is relaxed. I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" I never stop learning, and when you have me as a therapist, you will see that you will fall back in love with learning. Overall, I am just honored you allowed me to help you! There are no ideal clients. I believe they are all interesting and they are all human beings; each with their own imperfections. I have learned to listen to them carefully and help them set their own goals. Many have daily life problems such as a depression caused by loss. Others caused by stress. Some have anger issues related to the childhood experiences, others related to frustration. Some come to me because of difficulties in a relationship. Some have difficulties with communication. All my patients want to be understood.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Credentialed Health Service Provider in Psychology. I provide services individualized for every client. These services are available in-office or via telehealth. I accept most insurance plans. I provide mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. My therapy specialties include trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive disorders. As a US Marine combat veteran, I also enjoy providing services tailored to veterans. I am an EMDR trained psychologist specializing in PTSD for treating several types of trauma.

Most of my clients not only work on changing thoughts to impact behavior, but also shift their habits so that their body/brain perform at its best. This can be done at any age. Learning new coping techniques, regulation skills, increase in healthy habits and decrease of unhealthy habits.

He specializes in adolescents and adults with brain injuries, ADHD, neurological problems, and with anxiety and depression.

For the last five years Brian has been providing therapeutic treatment to teen girls and their families, in a long term residential setting, helping guide restoration in relationships, family structure and overall mental health functioning. Brian is a generalist but does specialize in working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, attachment issues, trauma related concerns, personality disorders, and other lifestyle issues such as LGBTQ+, gender, marriage and ENM lifestyles. Brian is accepting of and works closely with alternative lifestyle choices such as kink, poly and multi-partner dynamics.

As an animal assisted counselor, the animal co-counselor and I work with clients to tackle depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance use and trauma through a variety therapies including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and EMDR.

Kathy Sebo, LCSW Kathy Sebo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana who has been practicing since 2003. She has a BA in Sociology from Butler and an MSW from UIC. Kathy believes in a treatment philosophy that includes CBT, Family Systems, ACT, and Psychodynamic. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys gardening, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.

Susan Michnay, LCSW Susan Michnay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana who has been practicing since 1999. Susan is passionate about providing support and guidance to those on their journey to creating meaningful change in their lives! Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, you and Susan will work together to increase well-being for the mind, body, and soul. In her spare time, Susan enjoys yoga, reading, travel, and family.

Marcie Stubbs is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University-Atlanta. She has over 5 years' experience as a clinical mental health counselor. She has worked in outpatient and community settings with ages 2 to 64. She has partnered with a local news station in her previous position to address mental health concerns in the community. She has advanced training in Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, TF-CBT, ACT, and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

Hello, I am Kathryn Sutton. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 14 years of experience treating adolescents and adults. I am an EMDR therapist. I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have treated depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and trauma to name a few. I also work with concerns regarding family conflicts and situational stressors. I am a member and volunteer for Postpartum Support International and I am certified in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

I have been a therapist for 20 years and have treated adult clients with mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma, as well as dual diagnosis, substance abuse, and problem gambling. I have also seen adolescents in treatment for substance abuse and problem gambling issues. I believe it is important for the client to feel secure and at ease in a supportive therapeutic environment, without judgment, and that it is necessary to empower the client to resolve the issue and live his or her best life.

Lydia Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana who has been practicing since 2016. She has a Master of Social Work with a Concentration in Mental Health and Addictions from the Indiana University School of Social Work. Lydia works with individuals and their families to identify and work through barriers currently affecting the individual's and family's functioning. She has more than seven years of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy for clients across the lifespan.

My ideal client is a child, person, or family who is ready for change. Due to my play therapy training, it is also important for the client to be willing to participate in hands on activities in addition to traditional talk therapy.
