I am so glad you decided to take time to invest in yourself. Life often takes a toll on us, and we stay so busy it is hard to make time to take care of ourselves. I have worked with people with a variety of symptoms and from different walks of life. The thing a lot of people are missing is connection, and I strive to help create that connection and start moving forward. I work with men and women with the transition to parenthood and with couples in strengthening their marital friendship. I have experience work with trauma and have extensive training in this as well as being certified in EMDR.

My name is Samantha Wright-Cooksey, MSW, LCSW. I have been a therapist for over 20 years with combined experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families. I have provided professional services in outpatient, home, community and school-based settings. I have worked in addictions as well as end of life issues. I utilize strength-based and solution focused techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and problem solving skills training. I offer in person and telehealth options for therapy. I accept most insurance, EAP, and self pay options.

I believe that treatment is most helpful when provided in a safe environment that is free of judgments and filled with compassion and respect. I believe the majority of our troubles stem from our upbringing and the relationships we've had in our life, past and present. In order to heal, it is necessary to explore this. This will take time and will be difficult. We will learn coping skills along the way to manage life's ups and downs in a healthy way.

We are a family oriented group practice comprised of several therapists with a variety of specialties, we offer in office, video and phone therapy sessions. There is no such thing as an ideal client. That is too boring. The way I do therapy is relaxed. I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" Kari Crane is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field since 2006. She graduated from University of Southern Indiana with a Master's degree in social work. Kari has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, trauma, substance abuse, and crisis intervention. Kari believes in a holistic approach to treatment and specialties include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma and substance abuse. Kari finds joy in helping couple's and individuals learn effective communication skills to improve relationships.

Note: Others in my collaborative practice are taking new clients. It is my belief that everyone can benefit from counseling, and it takes a strong person to seek out assistance when needed. I believe we are not made to live in isolation, and we do best when we are part of a community. By recognizing the events that have formed us in life, we can learn from them and become a better version of ourselves. In order for this process to take place, I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment that supports increased insight and growth.

Ms. Chambers has 18 years experience in mental health, with 10 years working as a therapist, primarily in outpatient settings. She has her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, and her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapist (REBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and uses a trauma informed care approach.

Deanna Miller is a licensed independent social worker with 22 years of experience. She earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Wyoming. She has experience as a therapist working with adults in various settings including: hospitals, inpatient/outpatient psychiatric units, community based, and long-term care facilities. In the past, she has served as a Clinical Supervisor and Regional Manager for several organizations including Lifestance. She provides individual therapy for adults using a virtual platform.

Sometimes therapists are called the "wounded healers" because from their own life experiences they have decided to help people. I am proud to be one of those therapists. I have had a wealth of life experiences and losses and can truly empathize with my clients. I have experience in many areas of Social Work; including housing homeless people, coordinating adoptions, and advocating for pre-adjudicated youth. As a Clinical Therapist, I have worked in Home Based Therapy, Community, Residential, and Addiction. I firmly believe that these varied populations and organizations have enriched my integrative approach to therapy.

Ms. Trevino provides counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families with a variety of challenges. Jayme is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and a solution focused perspective. She also uses play based principles with her child clients to help them communicate their feelings and learn coping strategies for healthy living. Jayme has experience helping children adjust to divorce, improve low self-esteem and body image difficulties, along with processing bullying issues.
