I believe that I learn from each of my clients. I have found a passion for serving individuals that want to create awareness and begin healing from their past experiences. I encourage my clients to develop better relationships with themselves while creating hope for the future. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Gottman Couples Counseling. Shelby specializes in Trauma/PTSD, Grief & Loss, Anxiety, Depression, and Relationship Issues.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate at Phoenix Associates working with individuals, couples, and families. I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a minor in Psychology from Indiana University in 2014. I completed my Master’s Degree with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Purdue in 2019.
We can all benefit from the support therapy offers in some way. No matter how big or small our issues, the human experience is not easy. I strive to make my clients experience both meaningful and safe. Everyone is welcome in my office at all stages of their healing. I look forward to meeting you and working alongside you to improve your quality of life!
