Ashlee is a licensed social worker with 9 years of experience in child welfare, hospital, and school social work. She works with primarily women of all ages, children ages 4+, and adolescents. She uses a strengths based and goal oriented approach, but is easily able to modify technique based on each clients individual needs.

Sarah Schrader, LSW, is an outpatient therapist who has experience serving diverse client populations—in emergency psychiatric, hospice, school, and cross-cultural settings. She earned her Masters in Social Work at Indiana University of South Bend in 2018. Throughout her life and career path, Sarah has worked with infants, children, adolescents, adults, and aging adults. She sees each stage of life as an invaluable part of the whole. Sarah believes that the key to growth is weathering life’s trials and heartaches with strength and grace, and she helps her clients achieve this by guiding them compassionately in their journey.

Welcome! I grew up in Walkerton, IN., but lived and studied Social Work in Eastern Kentucky. I worked for a non-profit mental health agency as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Upon graduating from the University of Kentucky I became a therapist for a local high school. I believe everyone has experienced some form of trauma in their life and I want to be there to help empower those to live their best life. I have specialized trainings in Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, Nurturing Parents, 123 Magic, and years of training in DV/SA. I am certified in CPR/First Aid.

I am excited to work with individuals from all walks of life. I have a particular interest in working with children and families. I value the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and the impact these have on our lives. I also advocate the importance of implementing boundaries in one’s life in order to empower the client.

I use modality combinations of CBT, DBT, behavioral/play therapy and trauma-informed practices, in a cooperative and supportive way. I have been in practice for 30 years and having earned the Diplomate in Psychoanalysis, I have received the highest level of professional training available in psychotherapy. In addition to providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families, I also teach graduate school, supervise graduate students, and provide expert consultation to the local court systems and Officers of the Court. I also provide outreach services to the community in the form of workshops, contemplative retreats, and various online courses in psychology.

I have a BS in Behavioral Science from Western Michigan University. I am currently pursuing my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral/National University. While working toward my degree, I am able to practice therapy under a clinically licensed supervisor as an intern. I am Trauma Focused One Certified and working on obtaining Gottman level 1.  I believe that each person has a life and experiences and those, at times can impact a person's well-being. I often find that with a little time and developed trust we can work together to better the situation.
