Hello! My name is Ciera Jackson. I have been in social services over 15 years. I have a passion for serving people who desire wholeness, compassionate accountability, and growth. Narcissistic abuse, kinship care, and pastoral care are issues close to my heart. It's my niche. I counsel a wide range of people with the goal of dealing with heartbreak, emotional wounds, and rejection. I believe when those issues are addressed people can see themselves with clear lenses. Additionally, they can fully operate in their purpose and build future generations that are whole, heard, and understood.

At Collaborative Change we work with adults, children, adolescents and families who face a variety of issues that prevent them from functioning at their best. Our goal is not to "fix" the people that we work with but rather to provide safe and innovative ways for people to collaborate with a therapist to create positive change for themselves. Our therapists are trained in a variety of approaches and techniques to help people reach their goals in their own unique way.

I love working with clients across the lifespan. I see children as young as elementary school and work with clients/families up into the time of death. I have provided many of these services in-person in a hospital or home care setting while working 9 years in hospice and in oncology programs. Supporting folks during their grief is my specialty, whether due to changes in the life cycle, chronic illness, and terminality. I also personally am a guardian and caregiver for my parent who lives with Bipolar Disorder and advanced Alzheimer's Disease, so I bring several years of personal advocacy and practice experience based on this role.
