I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), providing virtual therapy in the states of Illinois & Indiana. I specialize in perinatal mental health, which includes anxiety, depression, OCD, birth trauma and grief before/during/after pregnancy. I'm particularly passionate about serving those who are pregnant, adjusting to parenthood, difficulty with conceiving, pregnancy loss- miscarriage & stillbirth; and transitioning to co-parenting. I'm trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths based approach & mindfulness techniques. I also work with those with generalized anxiety, depression & adjustment disorder.

I am an EMDR-trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker and work with adults in individual therapy. Most of my clients come to therapy wanting to gain a better understanding of how their experiences have shaped them and break free from their past. I specialize in treating trauma to help individuals gain insight into how traumatic experiences have shaped the way they view themselves, relationships, and the world around them. My goal is to help someone develop self-compassion and take steps towards building a future for themselves without misery and suffering.

I believe people can change, because I see it daily with my clients. I believe it because I lost over 130 pounds. My specialties include couples counseling, grief and loss, and trauma. I also have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I know therapy can feel intimidating. Before becoming a therapist, I was a client and worked with a therapist on ways to improve my quality of life. This experience taught me what clients need. I know that the client/therapist relationship is the most important aspect of treatment. The better the relationship, the more healing that occurs.
