I have expertise in mental illness and approach your issues from a gentle, non judgmental place. I’ve worked in severe mental health settings, trauma research, and with refugees. I’ve also facilitated support groups in bipolar disorder and depression.

I think I work best with clients whose goals are both large and realistic: working with depth enough for deep healing and growth, but with an eye to the practical, and with clear communication back and forth. Clients who need to tackle embarrassing, painful and difficult issues may appreciate my gently direct, understanding and non-judgmental approach. Those who have been frustrated with cookie-cutter approaches may appreciate my close listening, collaboration, and inventiveness based on extensive training and experience. I find I work well with a variety of symptoms and presenting problems in adults, children and relationships.

As a therapist, I aim to meet my clients where they are and provide guidance and skill development that allows them to meet their goals. I work with substance use, addiction, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief and loss, suicidality, and expected and unexpected life changes. I am here to listen and support you if you need to find hope or are struggling with life's challenges.

As a clinical social worker with experiences in community mental health clinics, private practice, and public/private schools, I understand that change occurs in the context of a meaningful connection with a therapist. Patients often contact me because they seek an individualized approach instead of a one-size-fits-all. My integrative approach to depth therapy forms the basis to help develop a greater sense of self-worth, perspective, and well-being.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where your child can process their emotions, develop coping skills, and create positive change.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who has also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor(CADC) and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology(MCP). Much of my training has been centered in client-centered theory and I also have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In addition to being traditionally trained, I also incorporate​ a holistic, integrated approach toward psychotherapy which includes aspects of mindfulness and Eastern philosophy, providing individual, family and couples therapy as well as intervention work.
