She was inspired to become a therapist during high school, where she found her passion for relating to and helping others while volunteering on the teen staff for the Operation Snowball and ITI (Illinois Teenage Institute) programs to help work with other teens. Over 25 years of counseling experience working in school settings, where she provided individual, group, and family therapy to children

Welcome! We provide traditional and holistic healing for mind, body & spirit health. We work with individuals, couples, families & groups age 5 and up. The facility is located on a main street with free parking. This is a private practice with a private waiting room in a very comfortable & soothing setting. Look for the yellow house with raspberry trim. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. When you call, we will do a brief intake, verify your insurance benefits & schedule your first appointment. We do not have a waiting list and can schedule your first appointment within the same week.

He has over 18 years of clinical experience providing care to clients with a wide range of needs. He serves all ages of clients from pre-adolescent to the life experienced senior citizen. His clinical experience includes outpatient settings, substance abuse clinics, emergency and disaster response teams, at risk adolescent group homes, family services agencies, universities, correctional facilities as well as private practice experience.

Previously I worked psychotherapy in the State Government Correctional setting under the exempt licensure title Clinical Psychologist/Sr Psych. Inmates under my care have described my therapeutic approach as "nonjudgmental" and "compassionate."
