We all come from diverse backgrounds and life stages, each with our own unique struggles and aspirations. Whether we are grappling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive thoughts and behaviors, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or other challenges, psychotherapy can provide invaluable support in a confidential and non-judgmental space. It is my belief that every person has the inherent capacity for growth and resilience, and therapy serves as a catalyst for unlocking that potential.

Usually, people look for help when they are faced with a situation that they are unable to find a satisfactory solution to either in their own repertoire of experiences or within their immediate environment. Situations can involve the loss of a loved one, or a marriage. It can also include a family crisis, anxiety, depression, difficulty connecting and maintaining a connection with others, work troubles, and illness and death.

Diana Goldman de Zocchi has over 30 years of clinical experience in both individual and couple therapy/counseling in three different countries: Argentina, Spain and the United States. She received her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires. Diana completed 4 additional years of psychodynamic training at the Argentinean Psychoanalytical Association (Member of the IPA ). Diana also has more than 10 years of experience in Teaching and Supervision of postgraduate trainees. She currently supervises fellow colleagues in private practice and is faculty in China America Psychoanalytical Alliance.

Ann L. Chan provides a unique healing experience in a calm space. I have cutting-edge knowledge related to the mind, body, and brain. She understands the origins of the problems related to trauma and attachment. I apply Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Practice, Transforming the Experience-Based Brain (TEB), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Havening.

Applying theoretical application into practice varies from person to person as I assess, analyze, and evaluate the “self” through one on one counseling, therapy, observation, active listening, communication, surveys, and much more through clinical intervention and exploration. My main focus is YOU within a deep, empathic, and respectful atmosphere TOGETHER we can discover who the “SELF” truly is. Displaying a welcoming non- judgmental environment while setting the primary goal to establish a therapeutic alliance through confidentiality, empathic understanding, unconditional positive regard, respect, and dignity.

My interest includes cross-cultural issues with couples, individual therapy, and group therapy. I have extensive experience working with adults who are coping with trauma, domestic violence, struggle with depression, anxiety and addiction. My earlier work focused on immigrants and refugees who have experienced trauma. The therapeutic relationship gives clients a chance to safely explore new effective coping mechanisms to improve the quality of their lives. It is common for human beings who experience trauma and life stressors to feel like their lives are unraveling. My passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience and also improve their lives. I enjoy working with adults of all ages. I am fluent in English and Portuguese. As a client-centered and trauma-informed therapist, I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative space and a vehicle for change.

Therapy transformed my life when I was referred to a counselor years ago as a teen. I have been working with marginalized populations and people struggling with addictions for over a decade. Clients who benefit the most from my approach are those who often feel outcasted by their environment, misunderstood in their relationships, or limited in their career. Throughout sessions, you will be better equipped to resolve conflicts within yourself and with others, and feel more confident, and free. I've been working mainly with Latinos(as) and African Americans, but anyone who is willing to explore themselves will benefit greatly from this work.

Child Therapy Chicago, North Shore and Naperville is a counseling & psychotherapy specialist practice in the Chicagoland area working exclusively with kids from toddlers through teens and parents. We use play therapy and talk therapy to help kids overcome big emotions and behaviors like anxiety, sadness, fears, tantrums, aggression, school and social issues and feelings related to divorce.
