As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Therapist, I provide clients with a supportive, safe space for free self-expression. Through active listening, empathy, and evidence-based techniques, I establish trust and explore behavioral patterns. I seek clients who are open to discovering their story and how it led them to their current circumstance. I am best able to nurture a relationship with a client who is aware of their reason for seeking support and is comfortable with a direct perspective to realizing their goals. My approach to working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families is centered on the philosophy that we are experiencing components of our personal story daily. When we conclude a chapter, it can impact the next chapter. By understanding our experiences and crafting our next steps, we can shape our story.

Most of my clients struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, boundary setting, relational issues including infidelity, sexual issues, vaginismus or commitment struggles. I will help you or your relationship find a balanced, healthier version of yourself.

The struggles we all face, large and small, are part of what define our humanity - be it anxiety, trauma, or confusion. I enjoy working with my clients as they go through the process of defining who and what they want to be and then help them go about achieving it.

Donna aligns closely with Adlerian, Cognitive behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. Adlerian theory has been shown in research for treating multiple mental health conditions: anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenic, and substance abuse disorders. Adlerian theory suggests that people are driven by a need to feel that they matter, and they belong. How do you want to grow as a person, what are your dreams and goals?
