During my career as a therapist, I have gained the expertise in joining a person "where they are at" while developing an environment of safety, security and mutual respect. I have been told that my voice and manner quickly communicates friendliness and kindness, and that people overall, find that I am not at all intimidating and very easy to talk to. I provide an integrative supportive approach that allows for healing and growth. I combine Motivational Enhancement with Cognitive Behavioral interventions to assist in identifying the unique qualities and strengths of each person I work with to evoke change and emotional wellness.

Loss is an underlying reason many of my clients seek counseling. Some have lost a part of who they were before overwhelming life events occurred. Some are helping professionals who give so much in their work or life they are experiencing traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, burnout, or vicarious trauma. Some are experiencing the loss of a family structure they were familiar with. Others have experienced an unexpected traumatic loss of a loved one to suicide, homicide, or sudden death.

Being vulnerable takes tremendous strength and opening yourself up to create an authentic and genuine life requires conviction. I work with couples in premarital and marital counseling, as well as helping all adults with relationship issues (LGBTQ+ Allied). Issues like infidelity, lack of intimacy and communication struggles are common and together we can work to resolve them. My goal is to help you rebuild your relationship into something much healthier than before. I also help adults with grief, chronic illness, anxiety and depression.

We are an outpatient virtual group practice. We offer individual therapy, diagnostic evaluation, and family support. Our practice specializes in neurodivergent diagnoses including ADHD and Autism, as well as sensory and learning difference. We are experienced in treating co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, eating disorders, conflict with family of origin, job-related stress, relationship issues, life transitions, loss, and chronic health concerns. We are knowledgeable about women's health, sex differences in neurodivergent presentations, and we support the queer community.

As a therapist, I aim to meet my clients where they are and provide guidance and skill development that allows them to meet their goals. I work with substance use, addiction, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief and loss, suicidality, and expected and unexpected life changes. When I support grievers, we work together to determine how and if you'd like to honor your person that died, explore feelings around their death, and what life looks like now.
