Hello! I’m Dr. Kala Taylor ,(She), I currently work private practice with (The Psychology Center) in Chicago. Previously I worked psychotherapy in the State Government Correctional setting under the exempt licensure title Clinical Psychologist/Sr Psych. Inmates under my care have described my therapeutic approach as "nonjudgmental" and "compassionate." My personal experiences have led me to cultivate a deep empathy for all beings. and I’m committed to being (not just inclusive but) welcoming towards “others.” My experience working in mental health has led me to focus on working to help individuals with personal challenges.

Alyssa Cline is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her master’s degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She decided to become a therapist after working as a caseworker in foster care for years and wanting to spend more time helping the parents and children process hard situations.

Natasha is a licensed clinical social worker who holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bard College and a master’s degree in social work from Washington University. Often described as calm, patient and compassionate, Natasha hopes to work with guests in Illinois via telehealth, sharing her experience working with adults and children who are living with severe mental illness. She has worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, outpatient case management, homeless shelters, behavioral health units and nursing homes.

Rebecca Davis is a licensed professional counselor who earned her master's degree in Counseling from Eastern Illinois University and master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University. She was inspired to become a therapist during high school, where she found her passion for relating to and helping others while volunteering on the teen staff for the Operation Snowball and ITI (Illinois Teenage Institute) programs to help work with other teens. Over 25 years of counseling experience working in school settings, where she provided individual, group, and family therapy to children

Velma is licensed social worker who holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Velma has experience in providing clinical recommendations to both state courts and private agencies for children and families in the Illinois child welfare system. She is described as authentic, funny and kind and hopes to assist people on their path toward being a better version of themselves. She strives to offer guests hope with a different perspective, using both humor and silence. She is solutions oriented while believing that all guests come with their own processes.

Our person-centered, solution-focused methods provide the encouragement necessary for clients to see tangible results and quantifiable changes in their lives, attitude and self-esteem. We meet clients where they're at and find creative ways to thoughtfully challenge folks when needed. I seek to understand your personal, cultural and spiritual beliefs. Through this holistic approach, I tailor treatments based upon your unique needs. Therapy process is like an organized sport which has players and a coach. Players make the moves, working hard (you) and the coach (me) is guiding and directing.

Entering counseling is about developing a therapeutic relationship with the client. With that in mind, I make every effort to engage clients by first getting to know them and their needs. I believe that for change to occur for clients, they need to trust that their therapist is trustworthy, sincere and supportive. My counseling style tends to be interactive, with a focus on key issues that present in clients lives in the form of themes, patterns. I am comfortable working with different theoretical approaches, keeping in mind what clients respond to most.

I am a dedicated Licensed Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals, couples and families achieve their mental health and well-being goals. I hold a degree from Michigan State University and have accumulated a wide range of experience in the field of mental health care. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices and a client-centered philosophy.

I start with a thorough assessment of your current concerns. I take a broad-minded, non-judgmental approach to understanding what you are looking for help with. I try to be helpful by offering feedback and new perspectives and insights. I understand that you have probably already attempted several ways to address your concerns and by now you are most likely frustrated and worried. Our focus tends toward a systems based approach using behavior methods.

Delaney Savoie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She earned her B.A. in Human Development Psychology at DePaul University and her M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Addictions Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has experience working with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds who struggle with anxiety, depression, history of trauma, sexual identity, gender identity, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, codependency, and mild to severe addictions.

With compassionate therapy and support, I believe everyone can soar. I am down to earth and will honestly support you with empathy, insight & MIND/BODY connections to expand your possibilities.
