My clients struggle with navigating internal politics at work, workplace bullying and anxiety, feeling trapped in an unfulfilling career, experiencing write-ups, termination(s), or performance improvement plans (PIPs), lack of self-belief or self-worth, negative relationships with money, and burnout and exhaustion. I also have clients that struggle with organizing, hoarding, and the anxiety that comes along with the attachment we place on our physical things.

Over my career, I have had the opportunity to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic and acute illness, caregiver stress and burnout, life transitions, grief/loss and dementia. I work with families and individuals from adolescence through adulthood. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, safe space for all of my clients to feel comfortable processing whatever personal concern they choose to address. Valuing open communication, empathy and kindness, I create a space for clients to work towards their goals and support them in their journey of self exploration.

Hello! My name is Dan Gleason and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and trained to work with individuals, groups, those seeking career counseling, and families. I am interested in working with people struggling with OCD, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, spiritual concerns, finding direction in life, and those who would like to further their relationship with God. I strongly believe in building trusting relationships and having enjoyable, life-changing conversations in a therapeutic environment.

My goals with clients are to reduce anxiety, improve mood and behavior problems, and increase inner peace, ease, and balance. I value the opportunity to help others face and overcome their fears and live more value consistent lives. Seeing my clients' bravery lead to short and long term growth encourages me on a daily basis. I work with the full age range of clients, and tailor my approach based on individual and family needs and presenting concerns. My primary theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral.
