My ideal clients are feeling stuck and looking to make positive changes in their lives. They are looking for a partner in their healing journey. They are looking to be heard, understood, and given practical solutions to overcome obstacles that are holding them back. They are looking for a therapist who does more than just listen and offer interpretations. They are looking to make tangible changes in their lives - working on issues of anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, grief, and substance use.

I am a graduate from the Illinois School Of Professional Psychology. I completed my training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's Center for Pain Management (now known as the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab). I have worked in hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, and long-term care facilities. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have extensive experience treating adults and geriatrics with a wide variety of psychological issues. I treat a variety of conditions such as, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, relationship issues, and life adjustment difficulties. I am also on staff at the Amita neuroscience institute.

I have been a certified private practitioner since 1987. I believe in having a warm, friendly, and open approach to well-being. I have extensive experience with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples and families. One area of expertise is with special education and special needs children. I am certified as both a school social worker and a principal. Another area of expertise is with the caregivers of both older adults and children with disabilities. I am certified by Ross Greene, in his CPS approach. I currently have private practices in Arlington Heights and Evanston. I participate in several insurance panels.
