Teenagers are living through exceptionally complicated times, so it's no surprise that their struggles have become common. I have focused on working with teenagers struggling to overcome a variety of emotional, behavioral, and social challenges for the past 25 years. I am the Owner of Alpine Behavioral Health, where I was also previously Clinical Director for many years. In addition to outpatient counseling, I have worked with at-risk teenagers at a wilderness therapy program in West Virginia and a working cattle ranch in eastern Idaho. I have also led international therapeutic adventure trips to Central and South America.
I am currently only working with teenagers and their parents, and I work with one pod of up to eight teens per semester. Each pod includes individual appointments, a weekly therapeutic group that meets Wednesday evenings, and parent support as needed. Teens who already have an individual counselor are also welcome to participate in the group only.

Groups
Teenage Therapeutic Support Group
I facilitate a weekly therapeutic support group on Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 7pm. The foundation of the group focuses on being fun, positively social, and practically helpful. Our desired outcomes for participants are to develop a sense of belonging in a healthy social group, to identify personal challenges and strategies to overcome them, to learn healthy social and relationship skills, and to learn how to support others and how to be supported by others who have similar experiences. There is no cost, and the group is facilitated by Bradley Midgett, Owner of Alpine Behavioral Health.
