Hello! My name is Patrick and I work with clients online throughout the state of Idaho. I specialize in providing Counseling through a Catholic/Christian lens. Regardless of your faith, I will work with your own values/sources of meaning to empower the therapeutic process. You wish you could just hit pause on the world because it feels so overwhelming sometimes. You feel like people don’t understand you, or what you’re trying to say, and sometimes you don’t really understand yourself either. You notice feeling unheard or dismissed often. You want to have better relationships, less conflict, set boundaries, and understand yourself or your actions. You want stability and steadiness in a life or in relationships that feel rocky or confusing.

Your thoughts about food and wanting to change your body feel constant. Binge eating by the end of the night may feel inevitable. You continually compare your body to others and to the times when you were thinner. You have high expectations for yourself but feel like it's never good enough or that you are failing. Family members may be expressing concern for your well being, or maybe they have no idea how much you are struggling. Issues with binge eating, body hate, bulimia, or anorexia can feel like they're taking over your life.

Sometimes life gets hard, and you just need a little extra support! I love working with individuals aged 14 and up who are interested in challenging themselves to increase self-awareness and acceptance to cultivate a healthier whole self. I specialize in working with 20, 30 and 40 somethings struggling with anxiety, depression, boundary setting, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I am allied and have experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those who identify in non-traditional relationships such as open and polyamorous.

My name is Rose and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been in the field for over 30 years. I would describe my approach in therapy as client-centered and strength-based. I utilize compassion for each client that comes in the door, on the screen, or through the telephone. I've been told by past clients that they are very comfortable during therapy sessions with me and feel much calmer as they leave. I utilize EMDR processes, cognitive behavioral therapy, music therapy, and am currently exploring how to utilize other therapies as needed.

My niche is women of color processing racial trauma, workplace micro aggressions, and struggles navigating being a person of color living in a predominantly homogenous community. The weight that BIPOC folks feel is often too heavy to lift alone. Having a therapist who looks like you, and understands your cultural lens, is paramount to partnering with you to achieve wellness and recovery. Racial trauma looks like subtle slights + stress from internalized pain of tolerating intolerable systemic stressors based in a toxic culture.

WCS also accepts referrals for all individuals for psychotherapy (including couples, family, & group) sessions.
