I view you as an expert on yourself and will encourage you to honor your own inner wisdom. I value processing your unique context and how intersectional identities and structures of oppression contribute to your distress.  My goal is to illuminate the root causes of your pain and to help guide you towards healing and growth.

I primarily work with individuals and couples struggling with attachment-based anxieties, sexual dissatisfaction or desire differences with their partners. I also work with queer & non-monogamy exploration, as well as those that have experienced religious or relational trauma. I’m drawn to those who are curious and those that want to connect back to their body after being taught over a lifetime that they shouldn’t trust it.

The idea is that it's not just the mind and body that can need healing and looking after, but also the spirit itself. Furthermore, we are devoted to the liberation of Black individuals, couples, families, and communities across the diaspora by using spiritual modalities in addition to our conventional training in marriage and family. This is effective in aiding those who receive our services to achieve holistic wellness. We provide individual, couple, family, sex and group therapy.

My areas of clinical focus are around men's issues and with members of the LGBTQ community. I'm committed to providing a safe and affirming environment where you can process your feelings, no matter how difficult or uncomfortable. I'm not the kind of psychologist who sits silently and nods while you do all the work. I'm an active therapist and work collaboratively to help you increase self-awareness and identify a healthier path. Additionally, I draw on different theoretical approaches to adapt my work to your needs, but work primarily from a relational psychodynamic perspective.

Men, sex, & relationship issues are my specialization. Helping clients build relationships that work is a solid result most clients receive through our work together. We'll develop strategies to help you get out of your head. I'll help you learn the skills needed to have your partner listen to you and understand your point of view. I have over 20 years of experience in working with men's issues, out-of-control sexual behavior, sex addiction, porn addictions, low sexual desire, relationship issues, dating issues, and at-hope youth.
