Tyran is a Certified Mindfulness Coach with 17 years of experience in the mental health field. He holds a BA in Psychology and an MSW from the University of Louisville. He is research-focused and trauma-informed in his practice. He is also a Certified Hypnotherapist, focusing on de-stressing, mind-body and life-work balance. He's worked with various populations: addiction, families, refugee, children, crisis, elders, gay/lesbian/trans, etc. Energy work, breath work and meditation are some elements that he uses in his practice. His ideal client has a vision and idea for where they want to go, but may need to help getting there.

Our agency offers the following services; Intervention/Prevention, Child Development, Social Awareness, Outreach, Assessments (Substance abuse, Anger Management, and Trauma), Group/Family/Individual Counseling Sessions. I began studying psychology in 1996 and obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University (summa cum laude) and Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Georgia State University

I help individuals resolve various life challenges and issues, particularly treating panic disorder, anxiety, simple and complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation, depersonalization and derealization disorders, nightmare disorders, chronic pain, compulsive eating, and somatic symptom disorder. My specialty is the treatment of psychological, spiritual, emotional & psychosomatic conditions shaped by the experience of small and large traumatic life events.

Starting therapy, or beginning again with a new therapist, is a big step. Clients often call me when they realize things are going to change or when traditional talk-therapy has reached its limit. If you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, or grief/loss, things can seem overwhelming. You can reach the other side, with a deeper sense of your purpose and your spiritual nature. If you are spiritually/metaphysically based, if you believe you co-create your reality, if traditional therapy is no longer helping, I understand your unique perspective.
