Welcome to Self-Led Counseling! We are a team of dedicated and compassionate therapists who provide counseling to individuals across all age groups, including children, teens, and adults. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions, experiences, and challenges. Our therapists work under the supervision and guidance of Ashley Marx, LCSW who is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal Theory and has over two decades of experience.

My orientation is grounded in the belief that we are all born into this world with an innate ability to know deeply what we need. We develop layers of protection to survive this world, and I am here to help you get back to who you truly are.

I am here to be present with you as you are. In this positive relationship, you can heal. In my practice I hope to provide a space for you to begin the journey of self-discovery, self-reflection, and growth. Together, we will address the barriers you may face to enhance your life in the ways that are most meaningful to you. My philosophy focuses on the healing nature of connection between people, and I strive to bring empathy, compassion, and presence into the therapeutic space. I am currently accepting clients ages 17 and up. I work with adults ages 18-70 using various treatment modalities and theoretical orientations.

I provide my clients insight and help them build skills so they can live the life they desire.

I work with adults facing issues related to life transitions (college, career, immigration, parenthood), relationship challenges, and issues linked to depression, anxiety and emotional disregulation. My clients are typically satisfied with many areas of their lives, but they've acknowledged certain areas of stagnation or find themselves in need of support to move closer to the fulfilling life they desire.
