I am trained as a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I have specialized training in the area of alcohol and other substance use. I have been conducting research to try to understand and help those dealing with substance use concerns for the last two decades. I began my career path in Exercise and Sport Science and felt the need to change course to mental health when I first started working with the Autism population in Utah. Later, I received my Masters in Social Work at the University of South Carolina. My specialty areas include guiding clients to recovery from trauma, compulsive pornography and sex addiction recovery, healing betrayal trauma, and treating OCD, PTSD, and depression and anxiety.

I help clients with a variety of issues, specializing in relationship problems; individual concerns of stress, depression, and career; and adolescent issues. I also work with families, looking at the entire family system, and what is going on within it. I create a safe, trusting relationship with the client, working at a pace which is comfortable to the specific needs and desires, while at the same time, moving the client toward their desired goals.
