Welcome! I specialize in the treatment of adults with anxiety, depression, grief and borderline personality disorder. I provide a direct yet supportive and warm approach to my work with clients. I believe despite life's challenges we are all capable of living healthy, meaningful, fulfilling lives. My therapy modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Are you experiencing challenges dealing with difficult emotions, food and body image, over control, or interpersonal relationship issues in your personal or professional life? These problems can create suffering, and prevent us from living fulfilling lives and developing and maintaining healthy relationships. I work with adolescents and adults on these target issues, including eating disorders, ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders, and borderline personality disorder. I approach therapy with a focus on mindfulness and self-compassion in a trusting and safe environment.

I have worked in the field of mental health for nearly ten years with a focus on individual and group therapy for the past five. I have experience as well as a passion for working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, experiences of trauma and borderline personality disorder. Sometimes it can be hard to even envision a life beyond your current struggles. We will work together to explore what is the life you want to be living and strategies to get you there.

I believe that all humans share a basic desire to be well and happy, and to avoid pain and suffering. Sometimes, we just don’t know how to do that. I also believe that connection is key for us as humans. Without it, we struggle to survive much less thrive. Having only one person in our lives we feel connected to and accepted by can open the doorway for healing. Whether you've experienced trauma, loss, or just a general sense of suffering or emptiness, I will use a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to build that connection and create a space where you can work through the pain and toward a life worth living.
