As a clinical psychologist, I use a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy, relational-cultural theory, and dialectical behavioral skills in therapy work that is active and present-focused. Using a blend of empirically supported treatments creates an effective and meaningful path to process trauma, evaluate and understand neurodiversity, manage anxiety, and treat depression. I have experience working with all age groups and additional expertise with sexual and gender minorities (transgender, nonbinary, and gender variant).

Sometimes in order to grow and be who you truly are you have to assess what has been chronically holding you back. In a world where so many of us regularly get the message that we are flawed, I think it is important to start by saying something that we might not hear so regularly, which is, that it is okay to be you. But if I’m being honest, being yourself is not always an easy thing to do. As a therapist, I place priority in creating a therapy environment where clients feel safe to share the most authentic versions of themselves without fear of judgement. I'm an LCSW and I have 10+ years of experience providing therapy to people who are feeling stuck, unheard, and/or trapped within our system of social norms and unrealistic expectations.
