Dear diary, today was a day filled with purpose. I met with a new client, and I'm excited to share my journey with them. You see, I have the privilege of helping South Asian individuals navigate the intricate terrain of their cultural identity, expectations, values, boundaries, communication, and self-growth. This morning, I listened to my client's stories, their triumphs, struggles, their dreams and fears. We explored the threads of their cultural identity, gently untangling them to reveal the rich tapestry beneath. It's always an inspiring experience to witness someone's journey towards self-discovery.

I am a trained ART Therapist. Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies. Which has shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly usually within few sessions? Clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, (PTSD) substance abuse, sexual abuse and many other physical conditions. My ideal client is one who is striving to make a change. In order for this to occur, there must be cooperation and mutual respect between all parties. I will also work with those who are unable to express their feelings & thoughts and who have built these up due to the stigma regarding mental health.

As a marriage, family, and couples Ph.D. candidate and a graduate of NOVA Southeastern University with an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling, I have provided care with empathy, professionalism, cultural competence, and pragmatism, as healing is a collaborative effort that requires authentic care without judgment. I use various methods to assist individuals instead of relying on a specific treatment methodology. My profession is dedicated to helping clients find solutions to life-changing circumstances, which is why I work on developing personalized treatment plans that integrate into their daily lives.
