I am a bilingual licensed psychologist/neuropsychologist with over 25 years of experience. I have worked with a wide range of patients and conditions providing therapy, cognitive rehabilitation and neuropsychological testing. My approach is one that emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and takes into account emotional, behavioral, cognitive, biological, cultural and environmental factors. I work from a cognitive-behavioral framework and incorporate other interventions (ACT, DBT, etc.) as may be needed for your unique situation and needs.
In addition to treatment of mood disorders and rehabilitation, I specialize in several areas including neurological (i.e., brain injury, stroke, seizures, tumors, dementia) & medical diagnoses (i.e., cancer, chronic pain and fatigue), attention disorders/executive dysfunction, caregivers/family, capacity evaluations and cognitive rehabilitation.
