Each person’s life is a journey that comes with unexpected twists and turns. My clients are children or adults who need support through transitions, emotional issues, and learning new skills. I provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical Mental Health Counseling services. Each session incorporates opportunities to gain new perspectives and set goals and future hope. Expressive Arts, life coaching, and spirituality are incorporated as requested by my clients. Choosing to seek out therapy for yourself is saying, "I need something in my life to CHANGE." We will work together toward the change you want to see.

I specialize in helping people make sense of difficult situations in which they find themselves and are unsure of how to find their way out. This includes confusion from past traumas or adjustment to present circumstances. Some of these adjustments are from environmental pressures or biologically bases issues that need clarification and direction. Experience and the ability to listen carefully are two of my strengths, and two of the necessities of successful counseling. My fees are $125 per session. I do not see couples, but can refer to specialists.

Are you a woman who has experienced abuse of any kind? The type of abuse may include physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse. I have extensive experience working with women who have been in abusive relationships. I also have a passion for working with women's issues such as trauma, self-esteem, body image, parenting, relationship issues, to name a few.

Hello, I'm Dr. Yaro Garcia, please call me Yaro. I am a licensed mental health counselor with extensive training in clinical psychology, cognition, and trauma. I have 14 years of clinical practice. In addition to my work with clients, I also share my expertise as a professor and recognized speaker on topics related to mental health and wellness including complex trauma and treatment techniques.

We use therapies based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis with more than 80 years of evidence behind it. ABA is recommended as an evidence-based intervention by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
