I'm a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and Board Certified as a Temperament Specialist and Clinical Supervisor by the National Christian Counselors Association. In addition, I'm Supreme Court Certified County, Family, and Circuit-Civil Mediator and Court appointed Child Custody Evaluator; Certified Thinking for a Change Facilitator. Also, I facilitate and provides counseling and coping mechanism, and adjustments techniques to the reentry individuals transitioning from jails and prisons as well as helping their family members with the life adjustments and understanding chronic disorders, pharmacological regimens and management.

Before we turn up the heat in the kitchen, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jessyca Hayward, I am a LCSW. I have worked with children, teens, young adults and families for over 5 years. Over those 5 years I have learned it is hard to open up to strangers and express serious traumatic or even simple issues that we face daily, but what happens when we keep our minds busy, our hearts open., and stomachs are full? Having the ability to express your thoughts and emotions in a more relaxed, creative, fun, and inspiring environment, gives a person more freedom to be able to become more vulnerable, comfortable, and at peace.

In my practice, I work with a broad range of clients who are simply struggling with life's demands - coping with change and transitions, discovering identities and passions, grieving losses big and small, and understanding the complexities of relationships. I enjoy working from a systems perspective; that is, understanding how relationships impact an individual and bringing those relationships into the therapy process if necessary.

In my practice I see clients of all ages, for therapy and testing/evaluations. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse/dependence, behavior disorders and family systems issues. Most of my clients present with a combination of symptoms. I tailor treatment to the specific needs of the client and use research proven techniques to meet the needs of the individual, or family, in a collaborative setting. I teach healthy coping skills to address a wide range of symptoms.

Additionally, I provide psychotherapy for adults and adolescents for anxiety, panic, depression, and trauma and for those needing to improve their relationship or those recovering from infidelity or a major life event or loss.
