I offer methods that promote behavioral change (Motivational Enhancement Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and DBT relaxation/mindfulness exercises) to reduce feelings of trauma, grief, anger, anxiety, and depression. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in treating depression, anxiety and personality disorders. Aside from my clinical experience, I currently develop and implement behavior support plans/crisis intervention plans to address behaviors impacting social and occupational functioning. I work with clients across age groups ranging from adolescents to older adults and is specialized in treating a broad spectrum of diagnoses ranging from anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) through traumatic brain injury and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I hold a full time appointment as a Supervising Psychologist with the State of CT and is currently an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Hartford. In addition, I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer (CBIST) with extensive experience as a national and international speaker on emotional trauma and brain injury.

I’m a gender-affirming therapist that focuses on behavior modification and cognitive behavioral therapy with children, preteens, adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD/ADD, learning differences, and anxiety. I have experience in working with clients who struggle with trauma (PTSD), anxiety, panic, ADHD (all types), depression, physical disabilities, and navigating the ADA legal system. I have over a decade of experience working with military families, legal issues, criminal issues, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.

With 8+ years experience in the field, I specialize in children & families, couples counseling, anxiety, depression, ADHD, as well as addiction. I utilize an empathetic, humanistic approach with evidenced-based interventions.
