Does the world seem gray, less joyful or overwhelming at times? Are you less focused and feeling weights on your chest? Is it hard to manage stress in your life or is your mood lower than you desire? Are you anticipating or have you lost an important person, struggling with infertility, a traumatic event or gone through a major transition that is knocking you off balance? Are you down, exhausted or stressed about your life and need help to find sure ground again? Do you need someone who can introduce hope and life into a situation that feels hopeless?

My research for my PhD centered on helping couples navigate pregnancy loss and infertility.
I have a wide range of experience working with individuals and couples. I primarily focus on helping clients understand how experiences in their life have influenced their beliefs, behaviors, emotions and relationships. I think this helps clients understand what action they need to take to feel connected to themselves and others. If I can be helpful in deepening your relationships with others and self please give me a call.

And I love a good meme. I am a mixed-race, queer, neurodivergent woman. I am particularly dedicated to supporting neurodivergent, queer and trans individuals / couples on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. I specialize in areas including children's behavioral issues, premarital and marital issues, women's identity issues, infertility, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
We are constantly bombarded with messages telling us that we need to do it all on our own. I have good news- you are not alone and you don't have to do it on your own! We all have a deep desire to be fully known and fully loved. It is my belief that we can't be fully known and loved by others until we fully know and love ourselves. Having a strong sense of identity and purpose allows us to heal, forgive, and move forward with clarity, hope, and tenacity.

Specialties: trauma, perinatal anxiety/depression, EMDR, relationship/family dynamics, childhood trauma, traumatic birth, NICU stay, medical trauma, ADHD, early intervention, adoption, infertility, attachment, parenting, family of origin and other issues of stress.
Life can be hard. Don't struggle alone - I'm here to help! I’ve spent 15 years as a therapist working with young children, parents, families, and those unsure of their parenting future. My specialty is supporting parents (or potential future parents) to process their own childhood and family dynamics, to help them make the best decisions they can for their families. I love working with parents before, during, and after pregnancy, as well as using dyadic therapy for parent/child to process trauma together. Regardless of your parenting status, I can support you individually, or with your child.

As a bilingual/bicultural perinatal mental health and parenting specialist, I offer convenient virtual therapy sessions for women, partners, and couples, to address concerns related to infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting in general.
Let's be honest, motherhood is hard. It is not just you. Motherhood presents unexpected hurdles, from fertility struggles to coping with loss, and the everyday challenges of raising children. Honestly, though, when was the last time you took some time to focus on you and how you are doing with some of these challenges? That's where I come in. I offer a healing space for women from diverse backgrounds to get real around their feelings about motherhood (resentment, guilt, we cover it all!) and to learn practical strategies to manage the demands of parenting. I offer couples counseling for parents to improve intimacy and communication.

I believe in people. We are resilient. With connection and support, we can heal, change, and grow. My core values are connection and compassion, and I believe that healing happens when we connect with others who see us in our wholeness and listen compassionately. I continue to experience this healing myself, and offering it to others is my life’s work. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a birth doula. I was drawn to the doula profession after my own journey through infertility, traumatic birth, and postpartum depression. I am currently a master’s degree candidate for clinical social work.

I have a particular specialty in working with the LGBTQ+ community, young adults in early career years, and those navigating infertility.
When you feel unsure, stressed or simply not like yourself, any decision can feel overwhelming and challenging to navigate. This uncertainty combined with traumatic experiences in the past can lead to feeling paralyzed. My work as an adult mental health provider can be a supportive and gentle antidote to this paralysis and fear. I believe in being kind, direct and action-oriented in therapy, and I look forward to helping you find a direction, and confidence in your direction, in our time together.

This includes working with infertility issues, and pregnancy and loss.
I work with children, adolescents and adults who are primarily dealing with anxiety, depression and relationship issues. Emotional health is as important as physical health. We work together to understand how to accomplish change. I work in medical and mental health settings with the belief that integrating feelings with appropriate behavior creates a more peaceful existence. This summer I will be offering psychotherapy with equine assistance for kids (individual and group treatment) ages 6-adolescents at Affinity Ranch in Parker, CO.

I specialize in helping couples address relationship problems and find their "spark"; help clients work through a divorce, process this new reality, navigate internet dating; with families addressing parenting and adolescent struggles; new mothers with pre- and post-partum issues; couples transitioning to parenthood; infertility; women struggling with life transitions.
Do you need more of a sense of connection with others in your life? Are you looking for more balance and more skill in asserting your needs? Are you struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, or insecurity? Therapy can help! I work with individuals, couples, and families, helping them strengthen bonds with those most important to them. At the start of therapy, I believe it is critical to experience a good fit with your therapist in an environment that is safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative. This important connection starts the process of building deeper bonds with others.

I specialize in trauma, grief, oppression, anxiety and depression, life transitions, women’s issues (marriage, pregnancy, infertility, IVF, infidelity, divorce, menopause, etc), identity exploration, and spiritual & existential wayfinding.
You are NOT crazy! The part of your brain concerned with survival is likely feeling frantic, causing your logical self to go offline and your emotional self to be dysregulated. Are your old triggers and dysfunctional coping responses intensifying? Trauma, loss, change, conflict, and oppression can make you feel hopeless, lonely, anxious, depressed, and distrusting of you. You don't have to be defined by your past; you can transform your life by overcoming obstacles that keep you stuck and in pain. “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” Rumi
