Our typical clients are children and adolescents who are struggling with a specific change, transition, trauma incident, loss, or other stressor that is causing behavioral and emotional concerns, like defiance, anxiety, depression, self-harm, which interferes with school, home-life, and other relationships. Clients have goals to decrease behavioral concerns at home and school, improve emotions, coping skills, communication skills, and school performance. A lot of parents want their children to listen, respect, and connect and communicate with them. We also work with individual adults, families and couples.

We are constantly bombarded with messages telling us that we need to do it all on our own. I have good news- you are not alone and you don't have to do it on your own! We all have a deep desire to be fully known and fully loved. It is my belief that we can't be fully known and loved by others until we fully know and love ourselves. Having a strong sense of identity and purpose allows us to heal, forgive, and move forward with clarity, hope, and tenacity.

I can help you, your child and family cope with behavioral or emotional difficulties and build skills that translate in many different areas of life. School and work can put a lot of stress on us and I work to help the client regulate their emotions and use appropriate coping skills. Family dynamics are a huge area of our life and can cause strife. Utilizing Systems theory I work to address the areas affecting the client negatively and help them learn ways to deal with these stressors.

Nature-themed, outdoor groups will provide opportunities for children to explore sensory activities outdoors while focusing on gaining abilities for self-regulation, social skills, and self-esteem building!
