My approach is based on developmental and attachment theories and begins with the most basic intention: total acceptance of all aspects of the self. I operate on the premise that acceptance brings us into conscious relationship with the many parts of ourselves that were exiled in order to be loved by others.

My name is Angela, and I've lived in Colorado with my family for five years. I'm originally from Oklahoma and completed my undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University before pursuing my Master's at Colorado Christian University. My specialization is in trauma counseling, and I believe that understanding our past is crucial for moving forward. As a counselor, I help my clients to identify the root causes of their problems and support them in their journey to healing and personal growth.

Life inevitably involves struggle, pain, and loss. The question is how do we respond to these things so that pain doesn't morph into long-term suffering, and so that meaning, joy, and connection can still be found, even amidst our struggles.
