I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) sessions as an adjunct to therapy for both couples and individuals. She has been practicing psychotherapy since 2004. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Social Work Degrees with high honors from the University of Southern California. Sandra is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of California and Colorado. Her commitment to the field extends to education, as she has served as an adjunct professor at Colorado State University, School of Social Work, Master of Social Work Program.

Greetings, I focus on addictions specifically, of many types. I specialize with those addicted to opiate drugs and related medications. I have a wide variety of expertise and I can work with those involved in the Colorado Criminal Justice systems. I have worked in Jails & Prison's in the state of Colorado. I have worked in Community / Rural Mental Health Centers and Dual Diagnosis clients. I am trained in Bilateral Sychronization Therapy, new and innovative from Colorado, which helps the brain resolve trauma. I am trained in Seeking Safety, addiction and Trauma centered therapy, evidenced based.

We all go through different stages of life and many types of changes that we may need some help navigating and guidance through. I am passionate about helping my clients clearly identify the issues/ concerns they're struggling with and develop a plan to appropriately and in a healthy way cope with issues either as an individual or couple.

Life is beautiful and it can also be very challenging. Often we know it is time for a change in our lives, but may not know how to begin that process. When we are struggling, it is easy to feel alone and isolated in our struggle, creating feelings of sadness,anxiety, frustration and hopelessness. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mindfulness Teacher, it is my desire and honor to encourage and support clients through the extraordinary process of change.
