It might be to have a kinder relationship with ourselves and others; or to open up to trust, surrender and letting go; or to go a different direction than we've previously been heading. Certain events often precede the beginning of our therapy journey. Grief, relationship crossroads, breakups, divorce, job and career changes, moving, starting or completing school, some sort of “bottom” related to a painful behavior — I’m familiar with these challenges. Therapy can inspire a deeper exploration and a new way of being.

I know no better medicine than to help each other feel seen, accepted, and made to feel safe. Humans are pack creatures, that tend to do better in pairs and groups. However our skills to authentically and securely attach have become illusive in today's world. Through building real connection with your therapist, you can find real insight, real healing, and true growth. I also work in the CDOC (in prison) with violent offenders, and those with serous criminal history. I think you'll find there's no issue I'm not equipped to deal with. Been practicing for 15 years, and I've helped all walks of people.

I earned my master's degree in Addiction Psychology from Colorado State University. Before joining Mindfully, I gained valuable experience in community mental health and residential treatment settings.
