Hello, My name is Jaquar Lovett. I'm a therapist that is experienced in helping clients on an individual and group level. Over the past decade I have worked in mental health helping people with different difficulties. I graduated with my master's in counseling and therapy with recognition in 3 different honor societies. In addition to my practice I also do assessments and services for state facilities. I've been trained to work with families, relationships, groups, and individuals of any age. My ideal clients are people that have noticed change is needed and want to their lives healthier.

I obtained my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Argosy University. I specialize in youth and family therapy, in Lakewood, CO. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I hold certificates in systemic Art, Play, and Sandplay therapy. I earned my Bachelor's in Human Services with an emphasis in Rehabilitative Counseling and minors in Art and Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. I have a passion for providing an outlet for individuals to have a safe place to grow and reach their full potential.

Even when things in life seem to be going well, we might still feel shut down or sad. For many, the feeling that there is always something bad waiting around the corner follows us daily. We worry, about nothing and everything. Hope is hard to come by. We may want to let go of a bad experience in the past, but it lingers anyways. It can invade our sleep, affect our body, direct our self image, and rule our emotions. Many of the challenges of the pandemic have left us feeling uncertain and scared. Too often, "just dealing with it" is the expectation. But that's not the only choice. We've done our best, now it's time to ask for help.

I am also a certified sound healer and offer crystal bowl sound healing experiences, or 10-15 minute experiences as part of the beginning or end of sessions if preferred.

Rachel gently navigates the challenges of anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, adjustment issues, couples, individual counseling, existential challenges, grief and loss, spiritual journeys, creative and artistic blocks to name a few. A large portion of her clientele suffer with all levels of trauma from childhood to abuse to PTSD and complex trauma.
