As a young woman who felt very intimidated (actually, terrified) to make that first call to find a therapist in her early twenties - I get where your headspace may be right now. I understand how complex female mental health is (hello, hormones!) and how scary it is to come face to face with the parts of yourself that have been ignored or feel too stuck to change. I am here to tell you what nobody told me as a young woman, though...that on the other side of this fear is the lighter, more joyful and fulfilled version of yourself that was hidden out of sight. And I am confident that our work together will help you reconnect to her.

I support individuals and couples in deepening their connection to both themselves and those that matter the most during times of transition and change. When life becomes uncertain, we often experience new or returning feelings of anxiety, depression, general malaise and even grief. Relationship with technology may come up as we explore what works and what gets in the way of getting needs met. Sessions will be insightful and challenging, as steps are taken to make change.

In a world that often wants us to feel badly about ourselves, it's easy to feel overwhelmed if we don't conform to the "norm". I am here to stand by you in confronting the structures that contribute to our mental challenges while carving out new routes to emotional well-being. My focus includes holding space for my LGBTQIA community, fostering safety and respect for neurodivergent folks, and offering vital support to survivors of trauma, especially those affected by sexual trauma. Whether you're just starting out on your mental health journey, or are looking for a change of pace, I can help get you where you want to be!

I work with clients who want to improve their relationships, whether they are just hitting some bumps in the road or are on the brink of splitting up. I also use my expertise with couples to help individuals struggling to find and maintain healthy relationships, and those who want to work on their relationship but whose partner isn't yet ready. I don't just work with couples occasionally - relationships are my specialty. This includes working with couples where one or both partners struggle with substance abuse or addiction.

Are you having a past trauma flare-up? Finding yourself using your superpowers to be awesome at work but then annoyed and snapping at your partner? Are you cool, calm, collected for everyone else when they have a problem but not able to ask for what you need? Feeling on edge, body numb, but when you check out the real details of the situation you know you are reacting to old events? Maybe you have even talked about some of this in therapy before and understand what’s happening but you are still flying into over protection mode before you even know it’s happening. I’m here for you.

Are you often afraid of failure or feel like you're not enough? Low self-esteem impacts how we show up in our work and relationships, inhibiting our ability to reach our fullest potential. Sometimes we can feel too vulnerable talking to our friends and family about feelings of shame and guilt. Therapy is not only a safe, nonjudgemental space for expressing your concerns, but also an alliance that fosters positive change. Through unpacking the words of your inner critics, you have the opportunity to find your true self and experience self forgiveness, confidence, love, and acceptance.
