My practice is centered on helping athletes, coaches and their families navigate mental health and performance issues. I approach counseling from a guiding perspective. You hold the answers you're looking for, but sometimes there are things blocking us from being able to tap into these answers. Together we work on navigating these issues and finding clarity, peace, and healing. Some of my hobbies are: snowboarding, fishing, camping, spending time with my family, and jiu jitsu!

Hello! I am a Texas and Colorado Telehealth therapist who is passionate about working with young professionals and adults wrestling with self-worth due to family of origin and relational issues. I strongly believe in value-driven behaviors and encourage clients dealing with an array of struggles to this end. Through incorporating DBT skills and practices alongside professional experience with complex family systems, substance use, depression, anxiety, and divorce, I aim to help clients relate differently to pain while creating the life they desire.

People often fear that if others truly know them at the deepest level, they will be rejected, judged or pitied. I have found that the opposite is true: to know people deeply is to have compassion for them. And miraculously, being deeply known is healing. This is the basis for the work I do with my clients. Most of my work is with clients who experienced trauma or had difficult childhoods. I also work frequently with perinatal mental health issues, including birth trauma, postpartum depression, relational issues that arise after having a baby, and anxiety in the prenatal or postpartum periods.

Every morning is the same. The alarm goes off, and you hit the snooze button over and over before finally tumbling out of bed. Why? Because facing the day is drudgery. You get all the necessary tasks done but without enthusiasm, connection, or joy. The panic and fear are just icing on the cake. That voice in your head tells you, “Don’t bother.
