Hi!, my name is Krissy, and I'm here to guide you on a journey towards healing, growth, and stronger relationships. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and effective mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. Life presents us with a myriad of challenges, from navigating personal struggles to managing relationship dynamics. In these moments, seeking support can be a transformative step towards reclaiming your well-being and fostering resilience. I have worked with children, families, individuals and couples in many different capacities before finding my calling as a therapist. I have specialized training in couples and marriage counseling, family counseling, PTSD/trauma, adoption and foster care, anxiety and depression, and other mental illness, life changes, grief and loss. I also work with adolescents who are struggling in school or with behavior problems, defiance, and depression and anxiety. I work with couples and families for a variety of reasons. I can help you too.

I have been successful at helping people feel better and relate more effectively. I can help you discover your most authentic self by getting to the core issues and healing the underlying pain. I don't want you to be in therapy forever... we get straight to the root, do the work, get the skills you need and you become your own therapist. 8-10 sessions is the goal. If you're not ready to do the work, I'm not the therapist for you. But, if you're ready to step into courage and out of comfort, I'm ready to charge the storm with you. Is your child struggling with reading, writing or math? We diagnose DYSLEXIA, DYSGRAPHIA and DYSCALCULIA. We provide screenings and full evaluations. Screenings are more affordable and provide much needed data about your child's learning style and needs. Screenings usually take one testing session and a consultation afterwards to review the results. Full evaluations take several sessions and provide a thorough, detailed report. We also consult and advocate with parents and students on the IEP process/504 plans.
