Are you feeling overwhelmed or “stuck”? Are you wanting more from life? Are you struggling with letting go, changing, getting rid of and/or avoiding difficult and painful thoughts and feelings? Utilizing a genuinely warm, humorous, and direct humanistic approach, I will gently challenge you and invite you to step out of your current comfort zone and step into authentic, mindful living. Throughout our sessions, we will: hold space for difficult thoughts and feelings, highlight underlying patterns of thinking and behaving that may no longer serve you, and imagine new ways of being and doing.
I utilize experiential and value-driven behavioral techniques to encourage clients to practice and integrate the skills cultivated during our sessions together into their daily lives. As an Indigenous (Northern Sierra Miwok) woman and scholar, I greatly appreciate the complex individual and collective contexts and narratives that each of us embody and enact.
I believe it essential to explore and appreciate where we have come from in order to understand who we are and who we will become. Overall, I am committed to fostering an open and safe environment to support you and honor your experiences as you continue upon your lifelong journey of self-love and growth.
