Ruth Pascale-Jones is a child development specialist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 35 years of experience with ages 0 to 21 years old. I specialize in Autism, ADHD, and Trauma. Using Play therapy, sand tray therapy, art therapy, bibliotherapy, and animal assisted therapy. I have been using this prescriptive therapeutic approach to meet the individual needs of each family that comes to me. For the past 10 years I have worked in Sacramento and Placer County, helping families heal and grow.

I've loved and cherished my family relationships, both while growing up, and now with my wife and children. I strive to provide a safe environment to share highs and lows and hopes and fears with clients as they too pursue those cherished relationships.

I have had the privilege to work with individuals, children, teens, and families to provide support for anxiety, depression, behavior issues, parenting concerns, exploration of spirituality and religion, communication challenges, and family relationship difficulties. I have been trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and enjoy encouraging and supporting caregivers as they learn how to navigate the joys and struggles of parenting. I have also been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which allows me to help others process and find healing from past traumatic events.

Sherry is a licensed clinician who has over thirty years experience with children. Serving with a background in education and children’s programming leadership, Sherry has a passion for providing a trustworthy child-friendly space for effective healing work. Lasting effects in child therapy often include parent partnership and this service is integrated into weekly sessions to mentor each child’s long-term goals.

Beginning therapy takes courage, and I feel a direct and simplistic approach can help alleviate the struggle brought on by work, relationships, and personal challenges. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing struggles brought on by the pandemic and/or a variety of mental health disorders. A client's goals can be defined in session and issues may be intertwined when explored in more detail. My style of therapy is adaptable to the need of the client. I am passionate about working with clients who have the desire to change but find themselves stuck in their "symptoms." Many of my clients get stuck in their head, and can't find the pathway to their heart/feelings. Others are so overwhelmed by their feelings that they can't experience peace. I find that using coping tools can help, but that Healing can take a different road than symptom management. Amina has experience working with high risk children who receive special education in a clinical day school. Amina works with 3-15 years of age of varying academic levels, learning abilities, and behavioral and emotional issues.
