As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Art Therapist, I offer a genuine and non judgmental approach to helping individuals who are seeking to improve their relational and emotional well being. My experience includes working with adults, couples, adolescents, and school aged children.

I am an experienced psychotherapist who gets how hard life and therapy can be. I take an honest, empathetic, humorous and direct approach to our work and value the relationship we’ll make. Life is just one relationship after another, whether it be with your partner, your boss, or your phone and each has a positive and negative effect. I have over 25 years of research and clinical experience in working with individuals whose lives are impacted by mood disorders. Within the realm of mood disorders, there is a multitude of life stressors and challenges that are often present. I enjoy working with my patients to help them manage and ideally overcome the symptoms of mood and anxiety disorders that have negatively impacted their lives. I primarily work with older adolescents, adults, and elder individuals, and I also work with couples and families.

If you are struggling with mood, anxiety, motivation, energy, sleep, preparing for or adjusting to a new baby, having relationship turbulence, or difficulties at work or school, I may be able to help. I work with a lot of college students, parents, and corporate workers to help gain clarity, resolve symptoms, build resiliency skills, and get unstuck from unhelpful patterns. I have a specialty interest and intensive training experience in prenatal and postpartum issues and enjoy helping moms and dads navigate the beginning of parenthood. As a yoga student and teacher, I'm a big fan of using yoga practices to assist with healing.

Life can be really f-cking hard and my goal as a therapist is to show up in my authenticity with you and be a source of support as you navigate the many twists and turns of life.
