You can’t take it anymore. You feel yourself both falling apart inside, freaking out, and then shutting down. You try to live your daily life, but the issues of everyday life trigger memories, leaving you feeling emotionally flooded and agitated. You don’t want to continue the pain of the past into your future, but you find yourself having reactions out of proportion to what is happening. It feels unbearable. You want to be sure the people you love are protected and nurtured unlike how you felt growing up. You worry all the time and you feel paralyzed, as though nothing you do or try matters or makes a difference.

I (she/her/hers) work with transition aged youth (14-24), adults and seniors in my telehealth practice online. I want to see people who need help with making decisions, dealing with the past, and accepting self care into their own lives.

Life sometimes presents us with challenges that can feel overwhelming and cause deep emotional pain. Working from a strength-based perspective, individuals can explore their resiliency and tap into their own authenticity. Counseling provides people with a safe place to vocalize their struggles, needs, wants and values. It allows for growth and healing to occur while encouraging positive change within the individual and their lives.

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where with support clients are able to access their innate wisdom,moving from surviving to thriving. I have over 20 years working with issues of life transitions, substance abuse, codependency, trauma, childhood trauma, domestic violence, anxiety and depression. I look forward to talking with you.

Welcome. I'd like to let you know how I see therapy. For me it is important to provide a trusting, compassionate and understanding atmosphere so people can feel safe to explore, discover and develop basic qualities and skills necessary to grow and heal. I am a mindfulness, body-based psychotherapist who teaches the profound healing power of heartfelt awareness and how it can help people free themselves from negative and painful thoughts, beliefs and emotions. What I see happening with people who come to me is a belief that if they can control and avoid their pain and suffering it will go away.

Hello! I am excited to be able to meet you and get to know you and your story. I enjoy working with both children and adults in a variety of different situations. I have knowledge in a variety of topics including people experiencing anxiety, PTSD, agoraphobia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, schizoaffective disorder, and more.
