Hello! I am a gender specialist with experience in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, intellectual disabilities, eating disorders, sexual dysfunctions, schizophrenia, bipolar, and personality disorders. I began my training in an intensive outpatient program serving youth struggling with suicide and self-harming behaviors. I have worked in hospital settings, university-based clinics, community mental health, and private practice. In addition to my clinical work, I am completing a Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Science at Auburn University.

Dr. Vollenweider was born and raised in the New Orleans area. He is a licensed psychologist who earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University in 2000. He is a member of the American Psychological Association. He offers individual psychotherapy for school-aged children, adolescents, college students, and other adults. Dr. Vollenweider also provides family and couples therapy. The most common issues addressed in psychotherapy include anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, adjustment difficulties, and ADHD.
