Greetings, We all live with moments of transition, exploration and increasing amounts of questions. This often leads to exploration of identity, gender, sexuality, and more. My clients present with a variety of concerns including mood concerns, needs for healthy coping tools, substance use issues, goals for improving relationships, and processing through trauma history. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling and use a variety of research-based methods including DBT, CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Addictions Counseling, Trauma-Informed Counseling, and others in order to support those who wish to explore their strengths and weaknesses, explore potential for change, and put change plans into action. I also have a history of work with individuals dealing with psychosis and other disabilities.

I work with people who are open to making changes to meet life's challenges. I see people experiencing relational trauma, grief, and loss, who are in the midst of life transitions. I prefer to work with adults, including elders, and teenagers. I practice person to person therapy. Sexual addiction (SA) is a hidden addiction. It is a global problem, under-reported, and largely untreated. SA harms relationships, creates relational trauma for partners, and damages trust and intimacy in relationships. Addicts often engage in secrecy and feel shame and guilt about their behavior. Partners often feel betrayed and traumatized by the addicts behavior. Intimacy issues are often an underlying concern for both individuals and for couples. Like other addictions, SA can get progressively worse over the years. If untreated, SA can lead to relationship loss, divorce, job loss. financial problems, and legal problems.

My focus is on helping people discover their innate sense of Self and purpose in life. Energies necessary for vitality, joy, and love can sometimes become blocked by trauma and its effects—including anxiety, panic, depression, or PTSD, and when one considers all that is happening in our world these days, simply coping can seem to push us to our limits.

There are times when we experience phases of anxiety, depression, stress and exhaustion and wonder, "how can I feel better"? I have experience working with individuals with substance abuse, survivors of trauma, depression, anxiety, emotional disturbances and shame. I work with adolescences and adults.
