I enjoy working with individuals who want to move through their emotional trauma and become the best versions of themselves. My modality is to work with the clients who are struggling with grief, loss, anxiety, depression, identity. disorders and much more. My hope is that each person is treated with dignity and respect while working on their therapeutic goals.

Accepting new clients! Life can be filled with unexpected challenges. These vary from change of life situations to loss of job, marital difficulties, divorce, trauma and grief over the loss of a loved one. I welcome you to explore various ways to navigate these experiences in a safe, sensitive and warm environment. Together we can find creative and positive approaches tailored to your circumstances. As a team we can explore your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors and take action to reach a positive outcome!

Now accepting new clients for our Salem and Beaverton offices. At Compassionate Comfort Counseling, LLC we provide accessible and personalized mental health counseling and therapy, either in-person or virtually. We offer individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.

I am accepting NEW clients. I am seeking clients who are ready to work on their personal struggles and gain insight into what is triggering symptoms. I am interested in individuals who are on the spectrum, the LGBTQIA community, Self-esteems and self love concerns, generational trauma, post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety, and depression. This is work I have had to do on myself, and still continue to do. I believe in using a holistic approach, which addresses every level of our being - the body, emotions, mind, and spirit.

I have served in the mental health field for nearly two decades, assisting countless people overcome challenges and lead more fulfilling lives. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Master Addiction Counselor assisting. My practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other evidence - based interventions. I also use EMDR to assist clients experiencing the emotional and physical impact of traumatic events.

As an expressive art therapy counselor, I am able to offer a quiet, serene, and peaceful interactive environment that will allow you to explore your life and improve the quality of your life. You need not have any experience. We will work together to provide you with tools to enhance your journey through life. I work with children, young adults, teens, women, and a limited number of families.

You work so hard to become a professional and then Wham, out of nowhere you begin to experience anxiety or a feeling that maybe you don't know what you are doing after all. Your supervisor's communication feels like sandpaper and you get emotional without apparent reason. The work just doesn't feel like what you expected and you just feel out of sorts. You begin to realize you are using substances and some pretty unhealthy behavior just to cope. I mean it was fine in college but now it keeps you from feeling good. You need support from someone that gets it. You just need to get back on track.

Life can be heavy, overwhelming, and confusing at times - it can be hard to find connection, feel understood, and valued. Sometimes we all struggle to bring our emotions back into balance, handle difficult feelings, or be effective in relationships. I am here to walk alongside of you through these times. As a therapist who focuses on attachment and connection, we work together in a secure and judgement-free environment where you can learn more about yourself, make goals and create a more meaningful life.

I work with people who are experiencing relationship difficulties, going through life transitions, dealing with depression, anxiety, and grief. I use a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Individual Emotionally Focused Therapy (IFIT).
