I offer both testing and counseling services and am dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to support each individual’s journey toward social, emotional, behavioral, and/or academic success. I am a licensed specialist with over twenty years of clinical experience in the counseling room witnessing many changed lives. My specialty is helping Christians struggling with unhealthy behaviors find freedom and purpose. There are tangible reasons why people do what they do as well as a clear pathway to freedom. Additionally, I am DOT/SAP certified and authorized by the United States Dept. of Transportation (DOT) to provide SAP assessments, evaluations and counseling services to employees in safety sensitive positions.

Dr. Lori A. Harral has undergraduate, graduate and advanced degrees in the field of Clinical Psychology and experience with Forensics. She has worked with children and families for the last Twenty plus years and was licensed as a Clinical Psychologist by the California Board of Psychology in February 2002. In 2004, Dr. Harral testified before the California State Senate, as an expert witness, regarding parental rights. She continues to actively support assembly bills which provide for the best interests of children. Dr. Harral has provided psychological education to our military, both in the United States and abroad.

Welcome to my practice. I have been in practice since 2007 and have been featured on ABC, NBC, and KCAL as an expert psychologist. I work primarily with men who have hit “rock bottom” and would like help getting up. These men are often in crisis when we first meet. The issues I address are typically related to unhealthy sexual behaviors, infidelity, financial recklessness, gambling, drugs/alcohol, dishonesty/lying, and relational conflicts. My therapy approach is a combination of psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, and the 12-Step recovery model. I also share insight from my own painful but redemptive recovery journey.
