I am a United States Air Force veteran. I have a strong desire to help couples, families, and adult individuals find hope and healing as they work through anxiety, depression, illness related struggles, attachment issues, ADD/ADHD and challenges associated with military life. I am also interested in working with pastor's wives and other women in ministry who struggle with relationships, spiritual growth and finding balance.

I am a former First Responder, who has experience in working through trauma and creating a stronger resiliency. Everyday we walk through life with all the aspirations and hope of what we want to achieve. We walk down this path, and are faced with many kinds of obstacles that make themselves known only after we least expect them. This can dim our internal light, and create waves of sadness, anger, fear/anxiety, trauma, and depression. Taking the first step by calling a therapist can be a hard step.

I have worked for many years with individuals, couples, families and youth. Many of those I work with are struggling with transitional life problems and some have long term chronic mental illness. They are all looking to gain greater insight into their challenges and are working toward finding understanding in their interpersonal relationships. We set goals and then work toward achieving a more fulfilling life.

I treat individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, or relationship issues. I help couples to enrich their relationships and explore ways to rekindle their love for one another. I invite family members to join our sessions to bring your family closer together and help you to support each other.

Hello and welcome! Grow Through Life Counseling is a group private practice welcoming both in person clients in Murrieta, CA and via Telehealth in CA. We have immediate openings and are accepting new clients. Our Mission is to provide quality counseling for all ages throughout life. We provide culturally sensitive and inclusive care for all children, teens, adults, couples and families. We respect each family member's unique identities, perspectives and experiences in life. I understand the apprehension in seeking therapy and counseling. I also understand the importance of obtaining therapy in a safe and non-judgmental environment. There are times when we all face a need to seek counsel and professional therapy with someone who is able to relate to your struggles. My experience includes working with children, teens and adolescents in the schools environment and in my private practice; teaching them positive coping skills to address anger management issues.

I will help you determine practical goals for improving your fulfillment in your relationships and family. I teach assertion training,communication techniques, parenting and stress management. I believe the most effective treatment involves looking at the whole family system which can be part of the problem or the solution. Therapy can be a difficult decision to make and it can get worse before it gets better. It is hard to examine with someone you don’t really know, private, deep and personal things about you, your relationships; your marriage and your family. You may be dealing with trauma that was completely out of your control, or trying to manage a choice you made that inflicted so much pain onto others and yourself, or trying to wrap your mind on who you are now, but want to be better, however you don't know how to get there.
